Get to know María Elena’s Authentic Latino, and you’ll soon find what can happen when American ingenuity and the drive for superior
quality meets up with all things Latino. In his two decades in the retail and service industry, co-founder Jerry Gonzalez learned
about the very best, most nutritious natural and organic foods. Noticing that people began to increasingly care about what they put
in their bodies, he and his team used their deep insight into foods to recreate fresh new formulations that put both a nutritious
and delicious twist on the traditional Latino tastes they knew and loved as kids.
Soon they founded María Elena’s Authentic Latino,
a unique company bringing consumers Natural and Organic versions of authentic Latin food and beverages. “We consider ourselves Latino
Food Artisans,” says Gonzalez, whose love of rich Latino tastes was inspired by his mother, María Elena de González, for whom the
company is named.
